King Kalakaua and Queen Lili’uokalani were Hawai’i’s last monarchs, loved by the Hawaiian people for their dedication to their kingdom, the revival of hula and their musical compositions, some of them famously known the world over.

Through the traditional art of hula and mo’olelo (storytelling) their life experiences are woven together with some of their most treasured works.
